Buying a Home

Consider it a journey; not a process.

How do we make the entire home buying experience an enjoyable one? We communicate. We explain things in a way that everyone will be able to understand. And we make sure our clients know we’re always available to answer any question.

We’re here to help, every step of the way.

Home financing can look very different for everyone, as our financial lives vary so greatly. Therefore, before we make any product suggestions, our mortgage loan advisors will take the time to get to know you – your current financial situation, the purpose of your home purchase, your short- and long-term financial goals.

When we have a better understanding of who you are and the type of loan you’re looking for, we’ll review the options with you. Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer, or a seasoned real estate investor, we’ll move at a pace that’s comfortable for you.

Once we’ve identified the product that best suits your needs, we’ll list the documentation items that will be required to ensure a smooth transaction. We’ll provide you with realistic expectations about the approval process, timing, and what will be asked of you. Communicating with your Realtor and attorney is also an important part of the job that we do for you.

After your file is underwritten, we’ll guide you through any outstanding conditions there may be and ensure that your closing will go as scheduled.

When your file is approved and cleared to close, we work closely with the attorney’s office and your Realtor to keep everyone informed heading into the closing.

You’re never alone in this process. Our mortgage loan advisors will try to be present at your closings (schedule permitting) for moral support and to answer any questions you may have that day.
